Tuesday with Fellows - What is Love?
Dear Wellnessians,
S H Ho S H Ho Wellness College is dedicated to creating learning opportunities outside the classroom “Tuesday with Fellows” is a fantastic event for residents to meet new people and ideas.
In these classes, residents will learn about a specific topic chosen by RC Fellows. We treasure small class learning and hope our Fellows and residents can build a long-term and supportive relationship. By the end of the classes, resident will take away some concrete knowledge and skills, as well as new perspectives in seeing their life. Here is the workshop:

4 March 2024 (Mon) 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm | Communal Room | What is Love? | Ms Jessica MO | What is love? I believe some of you are deeply interested in this question. The word “love” has different meanings in different people’s eyes. If we don’t know what love is, how can we find true love? If couples have different definitions of love, how can they give each other the love they desire? For those interested in psychology, why not get to know a well-known love theory in psychology – the triangular theory of love – in this workshop? In this workshop, psychology lecturer Jessica will analyze the characteristics of your relationship with your partner and explore some experiments in psychology related to love. Let’s see if you can learn some tips for making your relationship more lasting. |
*Each participant will be awarded 5 RC points after attending and providing reflection (more than 50 words).
Registration details:
- Each student can only register once. If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, it will be decided by lottery and subject to email confirmation.
- If you are unable to attend after registration, please notify by email to <wellness@hsu.edu.hk> 3 working days before the class starts. Otherwise your name will be recorded on the “Blacklist”, which will affect your future application in RC admission.

2024年3月4日 (星期一) 晚上7時至8時半 | Communal | What is Love? | 毛麗清女士 | What is love? 相信大家一定對這個問題深感興趣。愛情這個詞在不同人的眼中有種不同的模樣，如果我們都不知道愛情是什麼，那麼又怎能找到真愛呢？如果情侶之間對愛情的定義不一致，那麼又如何給予對方所渴望的愛呢？對心理學感興趣的各位，不妨在這個工作坊裡認識一下心理學上一個比較有名的愛情理論 – 三角愛情理論。 在這個工作坊裡，心理學講師Jessica會與大家一起分析你和你伴侶的關係特點，以及了解一些心理學裡一些關於愛情的實驗，看看你能否從中學懂一些讓關係更持久的竅門。 |
